Client required a script to scrape and update Property Marbella with around 10000 properties. Each property had to be added automatically to the database with its relevant thumbnails and gallery images. The properties also had to be listed under their correct category. I created a script to get property data which was run every 30 mins as a cron job until the database was populated with all the data from the xml feed they had subscribed to, Data was returned from the feed as json and had to be parsed and entered into the wordpress database
