This project involved developing a custom website for a franchise client who chose to bypass high recurring platform fees by building an independent solution while still leveraging the franchise’s existing ecosystem.

With all branding assets—including icon packs, logos, and design files—provided by the franchise, the focus was on delivering a seamless user experience while integrating tightly with existing systems and databases.

• API Integration: Engineered secure integration with the franchise’s existing API, enabling real-time communication with core systems.
• User Authentication & Accounts: Integrated with the Mellow Mushroom database to support user login, registration, and account management.
• Order History Synchronisation: Developed backend logic to fetch and display user order history dynamically, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
• Dynamic Promotions Engine: Implemented systems to apply relevant discounts, promotions, and special offers based on user activity and eligibility.
• Custom Backend Logic: Built middleware to handle data transformation, validation, and communication between the frontend and third-party systems.
• Performance & Reliability: Optimised API calls, caching strategies, and error handling to ensure a fast and stable user experience.
