Have you ever followed through on a search engine result only to leave the suggested page within seconds of clicking on it? First impressions are very important, when someone visits your website they will immediately form some sort of opinion about your business. If the design looks templated or does not fit in with what you are offering there is a very good chance they will leave.
Bounce Rate the percentage of visitors to a particular website who navigate away from the site after viewing only one page. This figure can be viewed using Google Analytics which I install on all sites I develop. I can guarantee this figure will never be higher than 10%
